As a gift my parents had this medal holder made for me by my speed coach Michael Strockbine. I absolutely love this, but I think I will need another one because I have more medals to win.

College Road Trip - Spring Break 2016
Spring Break 2016 College road trip....What an adventure. I did not think my mom had it in her to drive thousands of miles by herself, she has never driven longer than 2 hours at a time and she has a fear of big trucks driving next to her on the highway, but she loves me and would do anything for her children. She overcame her fear and we drove from Sag Harbor, making stops in NYC for the National College Fair at the Javits Center on Sunday, April 24th. Next Stop was Lehigh University, I have always loved this school and I was happy to have an opportunity to visit it.
We visted Millersville University in Pennsylvania, stayed overnight in Baltimore and visited my awesome cousin Brianna who attends Morgan State..
We wanted to visit Howard University, unfortunately I could not get there on this visit, we visited University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, I love it. We stayed overnight in North Carolina and visited my Uncle Bobby. Next day we drove to University of SC in Columbia, oh my was it blazing hot. We then drove to Athens, Georgia to visit University of Georgia. I really loved this campus, it was huge, but I would love to attend a very large university. It was very hot, but a different kind of heat. I loved everything this college has to offer and I was very happy that we visited.
National Honor Society Induction 2016
I remember when I attended my sister's honor society induction ceremony and pictured myself joining what my sister refers to as a cult. I am honored to be a member of a prestigious organization that recognizes excellence in Academics, Service and Character.

Katy's courage....2016
Participating at Katy's Courage 5k fundraiser is something I enjoy every year. Katy was a friend of mine and there is not a day that I don't think about her.
Katy’s Courage a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in 2012 in honor of a precious young girl, Katy Stewart, who inspired all who knew her throughout her lifetime. Katy was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric liver cancer called hepatoblastoma and died at 12-years young. Her smile and her kindness have continued to shine, and her infinite courage motivated the founding of the organization.

Leggard Finishes 24th at New York State Meet
Not the results I wanted...but I was reminded by a very wise person, 1 month ago that was my PR - 24th place in NYS not bad out of 4,290 girls that ran this event this Winter Season in NYS.
What's great is I have 3 more times to return to the State Championship before I graduate from HS. On a mission this school year 2015-2016 * State Championship for Field Hockey, State Championship for Winter Track...going for 3 for 3, Bring on Spring
My sister being there made me feel so much better.
