What an honor it was to be among some of the best track athletes in Suffolk County to celebrate the winter season. It was an event that I have dreamt of attending since I started running track in 7th grade, and finally it was my turn to attend. This was my first Suffolk county dinner, I have never been invited not even for Field Hockey, so it will be a moment that I will never forget. I will be back attending this dinner again.
I could hardly control my excitement and of course I needed to persuade my parents to buy me something new to wear. I needed to make a statement. My dad being the awesome person he is took my shopping at my favorite store and bought me 2 dresses. WOOHOO....
I decided on this one.

Is was amazing to get our shirts and celebrate with all the athletes that would be going to the State Championship together as a team representing Suffolk County.
