My dad wrote an article called the "Future is bright for the Lady Whalers Field Hockey Team" I agree although we did not make it past the Semi-finals this year 2015...I really do think we will go all the way next year and win the Division C State Championship 2016.
Ana, Cali and me will be seniors next year and it would be a wonderful ending to our High Schools years to end with winning the New York State Final Championship for Class C, we started playing field hockey together in 4th grade then started our HS Field Hockey experience winning the State Championship in our Freshman year.
I love these girls and enjoyed playing with all of them, we are only losing 3 seniors next year, Sheila, Kerri and Cassandra, Class of 2015... I will miss them.

Winter Track Season will soon be starting and thinking about who will be on the relay team this year gets me so excited. I really want to qualify for States this year.
throwback Spring 2015.... My 1st competition coming off an 8 week injury.
I love running the relay.
I am looking forward to an injury free season
My current times are:
557.64 *30044.21 *10013.33 *200 27.80 *40065.94
I am projecting that I will start the winter season in the 55 7.30 and finish the season @ 7.1
For the last 2 years I suffered with injuries during the Spring, but this is my year and I feel confident that I will be stronger and injury free.
Although
February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month I feel this is
a topic that should be addressed every month and not just once a year.
During
February 2015 I presented as a Teen leader for the RETREAT...
February

relationship abuse to the little things we can do to connect with others. She
incorporates emojis into this presentation and demonstrates how they can be a
part of your everyday life to connect with others.

October 14th The Lady Whalers Pierson Field Hockey JV/V Team played for a Cure...This year the Cure was ALS.. A nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function.
We won the game and raised awareness and money for this terrible illness.
I love public speaking, it really is one of my
favorite things to do and I am so happy that Helen Atkinson-Barnes
selected me to represent the Retreat (A safe haven for families in crisis. They
provide numerous services to protect survivors, provide safety and help them
get back on their feet and live productive lives. The Retreat provides domestic
violence services and education to families, friends and neighbors on the East
End of Long Island).
I presented to over 50 second-year
dental students at Stony Brook University Dental School representing
the Retreat as a teen leader, to help them understand the dynamics of
relationship abuse and best ways to support patients. National Domestic
Violence and Awareness Month
