WOO HOO I'M 16!!!

Finally i'm 16...can't wait to get my permit so I can start driving....My sweet 16 party was amazing....

Playing for a cure....ALS

 October 14th The Lady Whalers Pierson Field Hockey JV/V Team played for a Cure...This year the Cure was ALS.. A nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function. 

We won the game and raised awareness and money for this terrible illness.

I love public speaking, it really is one of my favorite things to do and I am so happy that Helen Atkinson-Barnes selected me to represent the Retreat (A safe haven for families in crisis. They provide numerous services to protect survivors, provide safety and help them get back on their feet and live productive lives.The Retreat provides domestic violence services and education to families, friends and neighbors on the East End of Long Island). 

I presented to over 50 second-year dental students at Stony Brook University Dental School representing the Retreat as a teen leader, to help them understand the dynamics of relationship abuse and best ways to support patients. National Domestic Violence and Awareness Month

I'm back...

October 11th, 2015...Yes, my ankle has healed and I am back to playing....I am however still wrapping before the game and icing after the game. Everyday my ankle is getting stronger. So exhilarating being on the field.
